Bernadette loves all animals big and small, and has worked casually at Hurlstone Park since 2014, completing her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2018. She has a fluffy 3 legged cat named Lee who she rescued off the street. She has previously travelled to South Africa to work at a predator sanctuary with tigers, lions, leopards and cheetahs – and would love to travel for this again in the future. Bernadette also holds a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and textiles from UTS – sewing and embroidering in her spare time, as well as being an avid book lover.
